Hawaiian Man

"I wanted to record a collection of songs that reflected some of the experiences that touched my life. I was raised in a home where Hawaiian was spoken and the old ways respected. My father and uncles were musicians, and although I was raised with Hawaiian music, I liked jazz from small kid time. I would sneak into the jazz clubs, underage, to listen to the wonderful sounds of the jazz musicians that came through town and was enthralled by the marvelous chords that they played. Because I feel a love for jazz as well as Hawaiian I am including a mixture of this music as a reflection of who I am, Buddy Fo, a Hawaiian man. "
